Under contract to Govan Brown, Midwest Group completed the drywall contracting scope of the new Parks Canada office in preparation of their relocation within Calgary’s Harry Hays building.
Designer Rodych Integrated Design Inc. incorporated innovative designs into the space, including a kitchenette wall that displays a series of shapes layered onto the wall. Midwest framed this wall with triangular openings, and Perfection Millwork installed layers of angular millwork over top. The wall was then finished with bright blue, green, and white paint to achieve the complex design appearance.
Other features of the project include a level five finish to accommodate mural walls, and installation of vinyl product in high-traffic areas to offer surface protection.
